Magnetic switches are switching devices that are induced by magnets. Commonly used magnets include sintered neodymium iron boron, rubber magnets, and permanent magnet ferrite. The switch is a dry reed tube, also known as a reed tube, which is a passive electronic switching component with contacts. The outer shell is usually a sealed glass tube filled with inert gas, and two iron elastic reed plates are also installed.

The reed tube, also known as a magnetron, in magnetic switches is a type of switching element that uses magnetic field signals to control the circuit. When there is no magnetic field, the circuit is disconnected and can be used to detect mechanical movement or the state of the circuit. When the magnetic switch is not in working condition, the two springs in the glass tube are not in contact. If a magnetic substance approaches a glass tube, under the action of a magnetic field, the two springs will be magnetized and attract each other, thereby connecting the circuit. After the magnetic material disappears, without the influence of external magnetic force, the two springs will separate and disconnect the circuit due to their own elasticity.
